As an Area Representative, you are the person on the streets that we depend upon to help us place our students in safe homes that will offer our students an opportunity to explore the American Exchange Experience. State Department rules require that anyone that has contact with our students submit to a Criminal Background Check (CBC) that includes host families as well as Area Representatives.
We need to be able to be comfortable in the knowledge that we have the very best people in place and the Criminal Background is just one of those tools that we use to insure our standards of excellent are met.
Thank you for your interest in the Global Insights High School Exchange Program. In order to better ensure the health, safety, and welfare of our participants, criminal background checks must be run on all staff, Area Representatives, and host families participating in the program.
